Last week, Clearflo Pools participated in the Boy Scouts of America Ventura County Council Annual Golf Classic. This annual Boy Scout golf classic works to support the Ventura County Council that serves over 8,000 young men and women. Fundraising events like these are extremely important to us. We are committed to getting involved in our local community and giving back where we can.
With sponsorship opportunities available, we went and had a great time for a great cause while sponsoring a hole for the event. This event was at the beautiful Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo and included a full day of the golf tournament, dinner, auctions, drawings, contests and more. This was a terrific opportunity to raise money to help support our local Boy Scouts of America.
Participation in and funds received from the event help to:
- Support programs and camps such as Camp 3 Falls (1,300 acres in Frazier Park), Camp Willett (536 acres in Ojai), and Cub Scout Day Camp each and every summer
- Ensure that Scouting’s ideals, experiences, and opportunities remain available to our youth
- Provide under-privileged children with opportunities they would not otherwise have
- Support and maintain a structure that is dedicated to public service and citizenship
We are happy to have been invited to be a part of such a great event for a good cause. We are thankful to have been given the opportunity to participate and to give back. We’re looking forward to staying involved in our community!
