We’d like to reassure our customers that we are still servicing and providing maintenance for pools and spas as scheduled. We are also completing our construction jobs as planned. The safety of our customers, employees, and community remains the upmost priority to us. Municipalities and federal regulators have requested our services remain available as they are essential to proper sanitization that keeps bodies of water safe for our community. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that controlling water quality is necessary to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases.
As families across the country are being asked to shelter at home, we are happy to provide a way for you to enjoy your properly sanitized home pool.
We’d also like to remind our valued customers that both commercial and residential swimming pools and spas require regular maintenance in order to maintain the proper chemical balance of the pool water and, more importantly, to prevent waterborne diseases and illnesses such as the West Nile Virus, Legionella, Cryptosporidium, Giardia and other recreational water illnesses. Even in our recent extraordinary circumstances, and with the travel and “shelter in place” restrictions, regular maintenance is still required.
Commercial pools and spas in California are required to be checked for chemicals daily. To protect our communities, it is critical, especially during times of closure or reduction in staff, swimming pools and spas operated by hotels, motels, resorts, water parks, schools, and fitness facilities continue to be properly serviced and maintained. The same is true for the weekly servicing of residential pools.
Servicing commercial and residential pools, as well as moving forward with construction, have been deemed as essential services to maintaining sanitation as well as essential operations of residences or businesses.
We’d like to reassure our customers that the service and maintenance of your pools and spas can be done while easily observing the recommended social distancing. Our construction jobs are being completed outdoors, with small 2-5 man crews, and supply houses are open so construction can move forward as usual.
