New Pool Questions

How do I get started?

You can either fill out the form on the Contact Us page or give us a call at 805.428.0132 or 805.552.0132. We will set up an appointment to meet you and see the site, take measurements and locate utilities. We will ask you questions about the style of pool or spa you are interested in building.

Our design team will take photos and incorporate the look and feel of your home into the pool design. We want to build exactly what you want so sometimes it may take several meetings.

What kind of pools do you build?

We specialize in concrete in-ground swimming pools, spas and water features. Our Photo Gallery will give you an example of our extensive portfolio that include tropical pools, negative edge pools, water features and spas.

What does it cost to build a pool?

Depending on the type of pool, features, sanitation and control systems our pools will range from the twenty thousand to several hundred thousand.

Do you provide financing?

You can get a home equity loan or use a pool financing company. We have listed them on our Financing page. There will be a payment schedule as the work progresses and this will vary depending on the project.

Do you use subcontractors?

We sub out the excavation, rebar, shotcrete and plaster. All the subcontractors we hire are licensed and have a good working relationship with us, since we have used them on many jobs. Because of this, the project runs smoothly.

How long will it take to build my pool?

Usually about 10 weeks, but a larger project can take much longer. We take our time and the crew is very conscientious to make sure the installation is done properly the first time.

Why do prices vary so much from other pool companies?

There is so much involved in the construction of a pool. It is more than just the design. Material quality, workmanship, equipment warranties and customer service all will affect the cost of a pool. When you select a pool company, price should only be one factor.

We may not always be the lowest bid but when you select Clearflo Pools, Inc. as your builder, but you can be assured that the work performed will be of the highest quallity and we will meet and most probably exceed, your expectations.

How will I choose the right company?

Ask yourself these questions. Have they listened and understood what you wanted in pool design? Has the communication been good? How long have they been in business? Do they have references? Have you met the project manager that will be managing your construction project? Is this someone you feel comfortable talking to and asking questions?
